Terms & Conditions
Version 1 · effective 2026-07-21
Flowers are fresh, perishable goods. Prices are set daily from the morning market, orders are confirmed only once payment succeeds, and returns are accepted for damaged, incorrect or genuinely poor-quality items — not for a change of mind.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of MSR Flowers and every order you place with us. By placing an order you confirm that you accept the version of these terms shown to you at that moment. We record which version each order was placed under, so any question is settled against the text you actually agreed to — not a later revision.
2. Our products are perishable
We sell fresh cut flowers, garlands and loose blooms. These are perishable goods with a natural life of a few days. Colour, size, stem length and bloom openness vary naturally between batches and seasons. Small variation is not a defect.
3. Pricing and daily price changes
Flower prices are set from the wholesale market every morning and can move significantly day to day, especially around festivals, weddings and temple seasons. The price shown when you place your order is the price you pay for that order. A price change afterwards — up or down — does not change an order already placed, and does not entitle either side to a refund of the difference.
4. Stock availability
Stock is limited by what the market supplies that morning. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer a substitute of equal or better value, or a full refund for that item.
5. Order confirmation
An order is a request to buy until payment succeeds. Your order is confirmed only when payment is authorised and you receive a confirmation with an order number. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — where stock has genuinely run out, the delivery address is outside our service area, the payment cannot be verified, or we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by our payment gateway. We never see or store your full card details. The amount shown at checkout is final and includes any delivery charge; there are no hidden charges added later.
7. Delivery
We deliver within our published service area in the delivery slot you choose. Slot times are targets, not guarantees: traffic, weather, festival congestion and courier availability can delay a delivery. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for the detail.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree to give a complete, accurate delivery address with a reachable phone number, and to be available (or arrange someone to receive the order) during your chosen slot. Where a delivery fails because the address was wrong or nobody was available, the cost of a re-delivery is yours, and the flowers from the failed trip cannot be re-sold. A restocking or re-delivery charge, as shown at checkout, applies in these cases.
9. Cancellation
See our Cancellation Policy. In short: free before we begin preparing your order; not possible once the flowers have been cut and packed for you.
10. Returns, refunds and replacements
See our Refund & Return Policy. In short:
- A return request is not an automatic refund. We assess every request
and offer the fairest resolution — which may be clarification, support, a re-delivery, a replacement, store credit, a partial refund or, only where nothing else fits, a full monetary refund. We reserve the right to choose among these reasonable resolutions.
- Quality and damage claims must be raised within the complaint window shown
at checkout, with a photograph.
- Where the fault is genuinely ours — wrong item, damage, a courier delay
beyond the promised window, or poor stock quality — you are made whole at no charge.
- Because flowers are perishable, an order delivered correctly and then simply
refused, or that failed through an incorrect address or your unavailability, is not refundable, and re-delivery/restocking charges may apply.
Nothing in this clause affects any right you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
11. Our liability
We are responsible for delivering the goods you ordered in good condition. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example a delayed delivery affecting an event — beyond the value of the order itself. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including market closure, crop failure, extreme weather, flood, strike, civil unrest, government restriction, or the failure of a payment or courier provider. Where such an event prevents delivery, we will refund you in full.
13. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Each update is published as a new version with its own effective date, and the previous versions are retained. Where a change is material we will ask you to accept the new version before your next order.
15. Disputes
Please contact us first — most issues are resolved the same day. Any dispute that cannot be resolved is subject to the laws of India and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
